SUV Ran Over Man On Scooter, Suspect Sought: St. Pete Police
Investigators are looking for a black SUV and its driver, who drove over a man who fell off an electric scooter Sunday, St. Pete police said

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — Investigators are looking for a black SUV and its driver, who ran over a man that fell off his electric scooter while turning onto 22nd Avenue North on Sunday, St. Petersburg police said.
The 62-year-old victim was riding south on 34th Street North just after 6 p.m. when he tried to make an eastbound turn onto 22nd Avenue North.
The SUV was traveling behind the scooter and drove over the man after he fell. The SUV’s driver left the scene, heading east on 22nd Avenue North, police said.

The victim was seriously injured in the hit-and-run crash.
