The Best Thing I Ate This Week: Fried Snickers

I do not have much of a sweet tooth. Health benefits aside, when I want to indulge, I choose french fries over a cupcake or a bag of chips over a candy bar. There is the once-in-a-blue-moon occasion when my sweet tooth kicks in.

I had heard talk about offering Fried Snickers on the menu. I decided to go for it. Take a Snickers bar and deep fry it, then top it off with powered sugar before serving.

The combination of fried goodness and chocolatey peanuts made it the best thing I ate this week. It is a sweet snack that is good for sharing, if nothing else. A Fried Snickers goes for $3 at Five Bucks Drinkery.
