A 24-year-old man has been arrested in the four shooting deaths in Seminole Heights, Tampa Police Chief Brian Dugan announced late Tuesday night. Howell Emanuel "Trai" Donaldson III has been charged with four counts of first-degree murder, police said. Donaldson, a McDonald's employee, was taken to police headquarters Tuesday afternoon for questioning regarding the shootings. About 2:45 p.m., a police officer doing paperwork at a McDonald's at E 13th Avenue in Ybor City was approached by the restaurant's manager about a gun that had been left behind by Donaldson. A Polk City woman was in court Tuesday fighting to regain custody of her horse "Bo Duke" after being charged earlier this month for being intoxicated while riding the horse on a Lakeland road. After a report from a passerby that the woman on the horse seemed confused, deputies found Donna Byrne, 53, riding the horse on Combee Road near North Crystal Lake Road in Lakeland, an arrest affidavit said. It had to be one of their easier arrests. A Pasco man attempted to break into an unmarked sheriff's vehicle in a New Port Richey neighborhood on Nov. 15 only to find deputies inside, according to a sheriff's office report.
