St. Pete Woman Dies In Pedestrian Accident In Pinellas Park
The woman was killed Wednesday morning when she walked onto 49th Street North in Pinellas Park while looking at her cell phone and was hit.

PINELLAS PARK, FL - A 41-year-old St. Petersburg woman was killed Wednesday morning when she walked onto 49th Street North in Pinellas Park while looking at her cell phone and was hit by a passing vehicle, police said. The woman was identified as Danielle Nicole Harb, who was transported to a local hospital and pronounced dead from her injuries.
Harb was attempting to cross 49th Street in the 8800 block, from the east side of the roadway to the west side when she was struck by a 2016 Black Dodge Challenger driven by Christine Crawford, 29, of Pinellas Park. A witness told police that Harb was looking at her cell phone and was not paying attention to her surroundings when she walked into the median lane, police said. The accident occurred about 6:42 a.m.
Crawford remained on scene and cooperated with investigators. No criminal charges or traffic citations are expected to be issued.
