Mother Killed, Girl, Man Injured In St. Pete Gunfire: Police
Detectives are seeking information regarding a fatal shooting that took place Sunday night, according to St. Pete police.
ST PETERSBURG, FL — A mother of two children was killed, and a 17-year-old girl and a man were injured in a shooting Easter night, St. Pete police said.
The 35-year-old victim, Emily Renee Grot, was shot at 13th Avenue South and 26th Street South at about 10:50 p.m., authorities said. Police have not released what led to the shooting that killed her and injured two other victims. The teenager had a minor injury, and the man had serious but non-life-threatening injuries, detectives said.
