Woman’s Body Found In St. Pete Creek
St. Petersburg Police say a woman's body was found by a bicyclist Saturday afternoon.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — The St. Petersburg Police Department is investigating the discovery of a woman’s body found in a creek Saturday afternoon.
According to the agency, a bicyclist riding near the Jet Jackson Recreation Center, 1000 28th St. S., found the body just before 2 p.m. April 22. The body was in a creek that is west of the center.
Police say the body belongs to an adult female. Her identity is not yet known.

“At this time, it appears she may have been there for more than 24 hours,” an email from the police department said.
