Wrong-Way Crash Seriously Injures 2 Drivers In Pinellas: FL Troopers
Two people were seriously injured Friday morning in a wrong-way crash on Roosevelt Boulevard in Pinellas County, FL Highway Patrol said.
PINELLAS COUNTY, FL — Two people were seriously injured in a Friday morning wrong-way crash involving a pick-up truck and a minivan on Roosevelt Boulevard, according to a Florida Highway Patrol news release.
The truck, driven by a 21-year-old Winter Haven man, was heading the wrong way — west in the eastbound inside lane — around 5 a.m.
At the same time, the minivan, driven by a 48-year-old Illinois man, was traveling east in the inside lane.

The vehicles collided head-on at the intersection of Rhodes Road, FHP said.
Both drivers were brought to an area hospital with serious injuries.
