Police: Young Boy Found In St. Petersburg Sunday Night Reunited With Family

Police said boy was found near 15th Avenue South and 43rd Street.

Update: Police say boy has been reunited with family. Dad has several alarms and locks for the special-needs child but he got out a window while everyone was asleep, according to police.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL - Police officers found a young boy late Sunday night and are trying to reunite him with his family, according to a report on the St. Petersburg Police Department’s Facebook page. Police found the boy near 15th Avenue South and 43rd Street.

The boy is non-verbal, unable to tell police who he is or the location of his parents. It's believed he's about 4-6 years old, St. Petersburg police said.
