Dutch Golden Age Treasures from Thomas Kaplan's Leiden Collection Take Center Stage in West Palm Beach (observer.com) — World-class Dutch Golden Age masterpieces from the Leiden Collection are now on view at the Norton Museum of Art in West Palm Beach through March 29, 2026, bringing Rembrandt, Vermeer, and other masters right to local residents. Boca Raton: New park restrooms, lifeguard towers on the way (thecoastalstar.com) — A West Palm Beach construction firm has been tapped to manage $6.5 million in coastal upgrades for Boca Raton, including new park restrooms, lifeguard towers, and stronger sea walls. The work, partly funded by a state grant, will move forward once design drawings are finished and final costs are approved.

Florida lawmakers propose new bills targeting immigration for 2026 session (cw34.com) — From West Palm Beach, reporters outline several new immigration-focused bills Florida lawmakers will debate in the 2026 session, including tougher rules for undocumented commercial drivers and a new domestic-violence-style remedy for alleged marriage fraud. Other proposals would require visible ID for immigration officers, restrict face coverings, and create a public database of immigration enforcement actions. The session runs January 13 to March 13.
