Boy Dies Playing Hide And Seek At GA Home, Trapped Between Washer And Dryer: Report

A boy visiting family in Thomas County died after getting stuck between a washer and dryer during hide-and-seek, according to a report.

GEORGIA — A boy visiting family in Georgia died after getting stuck between a washer and dryer during a game of hide-and-seek, reported WCTV.

Thomas County Sheriff deputies responded to a home outside of Coolidge, Georgia on Friday night. They said the boy, between the ages of 8 to 10-years-old, was trapped between the appliances while playing with family. After about five to 10 minutes they found him and started performing CPR, reported WCTV.

The boy was briefly responsive, but then became unresponsive again. He was officially pronounced dead at a local hospital.

The Thomas County Sheriff's Department didn't immediately respond to a message requesting information.
