GA Runoff Voter Guide 2022: Deadline, Candidates, How To Vote
Voters in Georgia are at the polls June 21 to vote for congressional seats, secretary of state, and more.

GEORGIA — The Georgia runoff election is Tuesday and voters have already begun submitting absentee ballots through early voting locations, mail and drop boxes. This year, Georgia voters will decide on races for congressional seats, secretary of state, lieutenant governor, insurance commissioner and labor commissioner.
Two candidates are in the Democratic runoff for secretary of state. Dee Dawkins-Haigler will run against Bee Nguyen. The winner in the race will face Brad Raffensperger during the general election in November.
Charlie Bailey will run against Kwanza Hall in the Democratic runoff for Lieutenant Governor. The winner will face Burt Jones in November.

Below are the other races voters are deciding on in Tuesday's runoff:
- Insurance commissioner (D): Janice Laws Robinson vs. Raphael Baker
- Labor commissioner (D): William Boddie vs. Nicole Horn
- U.S. House District 6 (R): Rich McCormick vs. Jake Evans
- U.S. House District 7 (R): Michael Corbin vs. Mark Gonsalves
Election Day
Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Election Day, May 24. If you are in line by 7 p.m., you are allowed to cast your ballot.

On Election Day, you must vote at your designated polling place. You can find your assigned polling location on your voter registration card, by logging into the Secretary of State's My Voter Page, or by contacting your County Board of Registrar's Office.
When you get to your polling place, show your photo ID to the poll worker. A poll worker will check your photo ID, verify that you are registered and at the correct polling location, issue you a voter access card or ballot, whichever is applicable, and allow you to vote.
