Son Accused Of Killing Father, 78, Is On The Run: Police
A son is accused of shooting and killing his father in Clayton County because the numbers on a license plate told him, said his brother.

CLAYTON COUNTY, GA — A man with a mental health illness is suspected of killing his 78-year-old father and now he’s on the run with a gun, according to multiple reports.
Thirty-eight-year-old Brandon Williams-Griffin has been accused by police of shooting and killing his father in the father’s home, and then driving off with his girlfriend, reported WSB-TV.
The incident happened Saturday on Meadow Ridge Court in the unincorporated east-Clayton community of Rex, just one day after the father’s birthday party.
Joe Griffin, told WSB that his brother is mentally ill, but has refused help.

One of the suspect’s brothers said he had been ranting about the stars, pyramids and even said the numbers on a license plate told him to kill his father, reported WSB.

According to investigators, Williams-Griffin is driving a mint green minivan with a poor-quality paint job. The vehicle may be a Chrysler Voyager manufactured between 2008 and 2016.
