Acworth-Area Convenience Store Robbed at Gunpoint

The robber partially displayed a handgun and fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.

Cobb County police are looking for the man who robbed an Acworth-area convenience store at gunpoint early Tuesday morning.

Investigators say a man entered the Racetrac at 4331 Bells Ferry Road at 4:53 a.m. and showed a gun tucked into his waistband while demanding money from store employees. Once he received an undisclosed amount of cash, he fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction.

Police describe the robber as a white male who stands 5’08”-5’09” tall. He was dressed in a gray/black long sleeve shirt, black pants and black sneakers. He was armed with a handgun.

There were no injuries during this armed robbery and anyone with information about this incident is asked to call police at (770) 499-3945.
