Acworth Man Gets Lost Wallet Back After 24 Years

An Acworth man couldn't first remember losing the wallet a North Carolina man found more than 20 years later.

Burton Maugans got a call several weeks ago from North Carolina resident Jim Parker, who found the wallet while on a walk on the beach with his wife, WSB-TV reports.

Maugans said he finally remembered he had lost the wallet while water skiing at age 18, some 24 years earlier and described Parker, who mailed it to Acworth, a Good Samaritan.
