Celebrate Financial Planning Week at the Library

Celebrate Financial Planning Week, Oct. 7 - 13 with the Financial Planning Association of Georgia and the Cobb County Public Library System. 

Sessions will be held at the Switzer Library:

• October 7, 12:45 p.m.: Entrepreneurship Skills. Business owner Terri Johnson of ShopMemento shares ideas on how you can build a successful company;
• October 9, 5:45 p.m.: Building an Investment Portfolio: Learn how to make smart choices when building your own portfolio. Chris Staples, CFP®, covers the markets and styles of investing, and teaches you ways of building a portfolio; and 
• October 11, 12:45 p.m.: Managing Healthcare Expenses in Retirement: What Baby Boomers need to know about Medicare and long-term care. Marta Shen, JD, CPA, CFP®, AIF® & Joe LePage and Health Plan Store discuss what baby boomers need to know about Medicare and long-term care.
