Watch: Tearful Reunion Of Terminally Ill Acworth Couple
Jerry and Susan Stros both have a rare and aggressive cancer. Their emotional reunion was captured on Facebook.

Jerry and Susan Stros have been married for more than half a century. They have four children and six grandchildren.
Susan Stros was planning a trip to Florida on Feb. 21 when she experienced trouble breathing. Her husband Jerry rushed her to urgent care, where it was discovered that she had a rare and aggressive form of cancer, small cell carcinoma. The cancer had spread to 75% of her left lung, liver, lymph nodes and chest cavity, the family said on a GoFundMe account set up to help with their expenses.

As Susan was dealing with her illness, the family was rocked by another revelation: Jerry was diagnosed with the same cancer his wife had, according to WAGA-TV.
While Susan was scheduled to leave the hospital for hospice care, her husband was being admitted there. That meant that during the biggest fight of the couple's lives, they would not be with each other for support. The doctors even arranged for Jerry to be brought by Susan's hospital room, since it could very well be the last time they'd see each other.

But days later, the couple were re-united at home as Susan was allowed to have hospice care there while Jerry receives out-patient treatment. The emotional moment on March 4 is captured on video when Susan struggles mightily -- but succeeds -- in walking over to her husband.
The Stros are at home now, giving each other the support they need and being an inspiration and example of enduring love.
The couple's GoFundMe account says that they need help with unexpected expenses associated with their illnesses.
