‘Good Dawg’: Beloved UGA Mascot Dies At 10
University of Georgia Athletics said Que will "always be remembered as a Good Dawg."

ATHENS, GA — Beloved University of Georgia mascot Uga X peacefully died in his sleep Tuesday morning, the university said on X, formerly Twitter. He was 10.
Born on May 27, 2013, Uga X is also known as Que. His tenure with the university started during a collaring ceremony Nov. 21, 2015, at the Georgia-Georgia Southern football game, UGA athletics officials said.
Que, who is "the most decorated of all the Bulldog mascots," retired after the Bulldogs' 2022 season, UGA said.

"He compiled a football record of 91-18, presided over two (Southeastern Conference) titles, the 2021 and 2022 College Football Playoff national championships, and seven New Year’s Six bowl appearances. He will always be remembered as a D*** Good Dawg," UGA said in the post.
After Que retired, Boom (UGA XI) took over duties as the university mascot, The Associated Press reported.

Charles Seiler, who heads the Seiler family in Savannah, has been overseeing the line of mascots at UGA for nearly 70 years, the outlet reported.
One tribute from Barstool Sports said Que was the "ultimate football guy."
"We're sad to hear of the passing of Uga X. RIP to a DGD," Texas A&M University said on X.
Funeral details for Que are unknown.
