15 Crashes At Downtown Connector Temporarily Closes Lanes: Reports
Traffic did not clear on Interstate 75/85 until after 10 a.m., one media report said.
ATLANTA, GA — More than 20 vehicles were involved in 15 crashes at Interstate 75/85 near North Avenue and 17th Street, which caused northbound lanes to temporarily close Monday, according to media reports.
The crashes at the Downtown Connector happened around 5:45 a.m., and traffic did not clear until after 10 a.m., the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.
The AJC reported one accident began the domino effect, leading to multiple other crashes.
