I-20 W Lanes Cleared In ATL After Stalled Tractor Trailer Caused Delay
Heavy traffic remained Thursday, stretching to Lee Road, Exit 41, in Atlanta.
ATLANTA, GA — Heavy traffic remained Thursday afternoon after a tractor trailer stalled on Interstate 20 west at State Road 70/Fulton Industrial Boulevard, Exit 49, according to a traffic alert from the Georgia Department of Transportation.
Police assisted the tractor trailer after it stalled in the center lane and caused two right lanes to be blocked. The tractor trailer has since been moved to the right shoulder.
Traffic is heavy, stretching back to Lee Road, Exit 41, the alert said. The incident is causing delays for drivers going west from Atlanta toward Douglasville.
