ATL Braves Broadcast Team To Feature Brandon Gaudin, Tom Glavine, More

ATLANTA, GA — Days before the 2024 MLB season is set to start, Bally Sports South and Bally Sports Southeast released their newest broadcast team for the Atlanta Braves.

Bally Sports tweeted the news Thursday, six days before the first official MLB game on March 20 and 14 days before Opening Day.

The agency also announced that it will broadcast 151 games Braves games during the upcoming season.

Sports commentator Brandon Gaudin will return as play-by-play announcer, while TV personality Treavor Scales will fill the role of Braves live host.

Analysts C.J. Nitkowski, Jeff Francoeur and Tom Glavine will join live analysts Nick Green and Peter Moylan on the team.

Other members include reporters Ashley ShahAhmadi, Hanna Yates and Wiley Ballard, as well as contributor Collin McHugh.

Shortly after the news broke, tweets began rolling in from members of the broadcast team expressing their excitement.

The team seemingly has extensive experience covering the MLB.

Gaudin is a recipient of the National Sports Media Association Georgia Sportscaster of the Year while the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported Nitkowski spent seven seasons as the Texas Rangers announcer.

The AJC reported Glavine is a "Hall of Fame southpaw and Braves legend," and Francoeur has been with the Braves the past six seasons.

Yates has past sports anchor experience with the Arizona Cardinals, and Ballard previously hosted a Braves Live segment, the AJC reported.

ShahAhmadi in the past has been a fill-in host for Braves Live and has broadcasted for the Charlotte Hornets, the AJC reported.

McHugh, a former MLB pitcher, was a Braves member his last two seasons, the AJC reported.

Scales has history being a Braves host, while Green and Moylan have both played for the Braves, the AJC reported.
