$423K Prize Tops GA Lottery Wins This Week

Georgia Lottery players recently hit two jackpots, winning more than $600,000 combined.

ATLANTA, GA — While no one in Georgia won the top Powerball prize Wednesday, a Lakeland resident won $50,000 in the drawing, Georgia Lottery officials said Friday. The winning ticket, matching all five white balls, was bought at a West Main Street grocery store.

Though no one has secured the Powerball jackpot as of late, the $423,635 Quadruple Win Quick Win jackpot was won Thursday in Dalton, lottery officials said. The winning ticket was purchased from a Chattanooga Road gas station.

Lottery officials say Quick Win games are instant play, instant win games that share a rolling progressive jackpot.
