24 Fulton County Schools Under Boil-Water Advisory

A water main break caused low water pressure in two dozen Fulton schools on Tuesday.

ATLANTA -- A water main break caused a boil-water advisory in 24 Fulton County schools Tuesday morning. Low water pressure has impacted these schools in metro Atlanta:

  • Bethune ES
  • Campbell ES
  • Cliftondale ES
  • Evoline C. West ES
  • Feldwood ES
  • Gullatt ES
  • Heritage ES
  • Love T. Nolan ES
  • Oakley ES
  • Renaissance ES
  • Seaborn Lee ES
  • S.L. Lewis ES
  • Stonewall Tell ES
  • Wolf Creek ES
  • Bear Creek MS
  • Camp Creek MS
  • McNair MS
  • Renaissance MS
  • Sandtown MS
  • Banneker HS
  • Creekside HS
  • Langston Hughes HS
  • Westlake HS

All of the schools are open, and the Fulton school system said it is enacting safety plans that ensure students are safe and in sanitary conditions. Bottled water has been provided to all impacted schools and cafeterias are planning alternate meals.

The district said it is in contact with the Department of Watershed Management and is monitoring the situation.
