3 Dead, 1 Injured In Single-Vehicle GA Crash
A truck failed to negotiation a curve, left the roadway and slammed into a tree and fence, Georgia authorities say.
FORSYTH COUNTY, GA — Three people are dead, and another person was injured, after a recent single-vehicle crash at Matt Highway near Rose Creek Drive, the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office said Monday.
The crash happened around 5:30 p.m. Saturday. Authorities said the crash occurred when a 2014 Ram 5500 heading east on Matt Highway failed to negotiation a curve on the left of the roadway.
The truck left the road and hit a tree before crashing into a fence, authorities said.

The crash killed 36-year-old driver Jose Alvarado Macario, as well as rear passengers 24-year-old Abraham Vargas Vargas and 18-year-old Alberto Rios-Pintoja, authorities said. They were pronounced dead at the scene.
The vehicle's front passenger was injured and taken to a local hospital, authorities said.

The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Specialist Unit is investigating the crash.
