Peaches And Beer: 5 Festivals You Don't Want To Miss In GA
Patch has gathered all you need to know about five upcoming festivals in Georgia.
GEORGIA — Beer will be on tap, and the food will be plentiful, as the Peach State is set to host these five festivals in June.
These events celebrate wines and spirits, the unique activity of balloon racing and Georgia's fruit of choice.

Food That Rocks
What: Taste of Atlanta will sponsor the food festival, which will feature more than 20 of Sandy Springs' restaurants and live music. Per organizers, there will also be mixology demos and live chef chats.
When: 6-10 p.m., June 5

Where: City Springs, 1 Galambos Way, Sandy Springs
Ticket Pricing: $95 per general admission ticket. $160 for two tickets.
52nd Annual Helen to the Atlantic Balloon Race
What: According to its website, this event is the oldest of its kind in the South and is the nation's sole hot air balloon race. About 20 hot air balloons will ascend from Helen's Alpine Village.
When: June 5-7
Where: 1074 Edelweiss Strasse, Helen
Ticket Pricing: $20 per car for entry to the launch field. $1 per pedestrian.
Atlanta Summer Beer Fest
What: More than 100 beers from local and out-of-town breweries will be on hand, according to organizers. The event will also feature wines, mimosas and seltzers. Live music and food will be available.
When: 6-10 p.m., June 14
Where: Historic Fourth Ward Skate Park, 830 Willoughby Way NE, Atlanta
Ticket Pricing: $45 in advance. $50 after June 5. $60 on event day.
39th Georgia Peach Festival
What: The event, which celebrates Georgia's peach growers, claims to feature the "world's largest peach cobbler." It will feature arts and crafts vendors, kids zones, food vendors, live music and fireworks shows.
When: June 6-7 in Fort Valley and June 14 in Byron
Where: The Troutman House, 201 Oakland Heights Pkwy., Fort Valley. Byron location unknown.
Ticket Pricing: Not immediately available.
Alpharetta Brew Moon Fest
What: This event, with a "Dancing in the Street" theme, will feature and a performance by Chuck Martin and the Line Up. Guests are invited to bring their own chairs.
When: 6-10:30 p.m., June 7
Where: Milton Avenue (between Highway 9 and Roswell/Canton Street), Alpharetta
Ticket Pricing: $10 per ticket. $180 for a table of six people. $240 for a table of eight people.
