Actress Tiffany Haddish Charged With DUI In Georgia

PEACHTREE CITY, GA — Police arrested actress and comedian Tiffany Haddish early Friday morning in Georgia, multiple news outlets report.

TMZ was first to report that Peachtree City police officers arrested Haddish around 4 a.m. after responding to a call for a driver who'd fallen asleep at the wheel.

According to the digital news outlet, police spotted her vehicle pulling into a neighborhood, stopped her and ultimately booked her into jail for driving under the influence and improper stopping on a roadway.

Haddish later posted $1,666 bond and was released from the Fayette County Jail just a few hours later.

Haddish, who is very active on social media, has not made any mention of her arrest on her Facebook, Twitter or Instagram accounts.

Haddish was the breakout star of the smash comedy “Girls Trip” and has starred in such movies as “The Kitchen,” “Night School” and “Like A Boss.” She’s also written the New York Times best seller, “The Last Black Unicorn” and hosted the popular television show “Kids Say The Darndest Things.”

She's currently in the Peach State filming her latest movie titled "Haunted Mansion," Deadline reports. The movie is about a single mom named Gabbie who hires a tour guide, a psychic, a priest and a historian to help exorcise their newly bought mansion after discovering it's inhabited by ghosts, according to IMDb. Haddish plays the psychic.

Peachtree City is located about 30 minutes south of Atlanta.
