Alleged Gunman Shot by Off-Duty Officer Outside Atlanta Club: Investigators
Suspect fired a gun during a parking lot brawl. After the officer fired his weapon, the suspect fled and hasn't been located, says GBI.

ATLANTA, GA — A suspect accused of firing a gun during a parking lot fight Thursday has not been located after an uniformed off-duty officer fired at the suspect, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
Atlanta police told the GBI that a fight began in Club La Vie on Luckie Street at approximately 2:24 a.m. The fight spilled out into the parking lot, where the subject allegeldy fired his weapon. The officer shot at the suspect, who then fled.
"There is no confirmation that the subject was struck when shot at by the officer," according to a GBI statement. "Evidence was located at the scene indicating that more than one weapon was discharged."

The officer was not injured.
The GBI is performing an independent invesitgation of the incident.
