Annual Neighborhood Watch Training, Expo: Atlanta Police
The event is meant to train and connect average citizens who want to keep an eye on their neighborhoods.
ATLANTA, GA — The Atlanta Police Department is holding their annual Citywide Neighborhood Watch Training and Exposition in November, a chance for citizens to get some basic training in how to keep a watchful eye.
The Crime Prevention Unit is running the event, which is Saturday, Nov. 2, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Public Safety Headquarters at 226 Peachtree Street SW.
The neighborhood watch program "draws upon the compassion of average citizens, asking them to lend their neighbor's [sic] a hand."
