Arrest In Theft Of Beyoncé's Unreleased Music In Atlanta Announced
Atlanta Police said Tuesday a man has been charged in the theft of Beyoncé's watermarked and unreleased music, show plans and other items.
HAPEVILLE, GA — The man accused of breaking into musician Beyoncé Knowles-Carter's rental car and stealing two suitcases containing her unreleased music and other items has been arrested, Atlanta Police said Tuesday.
Hapeville Police arrested Kelvin Evans on Aug. 26, and he was booked into the Fulton County Jail, APD said. The items stolen from the rented Jeep Wagoneer were not recovered.
The break-in took place around 8 p.m., July 8, in a Krog Street parking deck, police said. Knowles-Carter was in town performing four concert shows at the time.

Watermarked music, unreleased music, footage plans for her concert, clothes, designer sunglasses, laptops and a pair of AirPods Max headphones were stolen from the vehicle, police said in an incident report.
The AirPods were tracked, and fingerprints were gathered from the scene during the investigation, police said in the report.

Fulton County Jail records on Tuesday showed Evans was facing charges of entering automobile or other motor vehicle with intent to commit theft or felony and parole violation. He was granted a $20,000 surety bond on the former charge but remained incarcerated Tuesday, jail records showed.
