ATLANTA, GA— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!
Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize the awesome moms and mom figures in communities like yours.

What makes your Mom extra special?
My mom is so special because she has a big heart, and she raised us that way, too. She loves being able to help the community and loves going for her 2-mile hikes. She loves cars and loves blue crab. And her and my dad have the best BBQ ever, Myrtle's Roadside BBQ. She is the best mom and nana we could ever ask for.
Why do you feel your Mom deserves the spotlight?
Well because she does for others so much.
