Atlanta Named One Of America's 'Sweatiest Cities'
Atlanta has been named one of the country's "Sweatiest Cities."

ATLANTA, GA -- Atlanta has many monikers: The City Too Busy Too Hate, and Hotlanta, to name a couple. But one of America's "Most Sweatiest Cities?" Say it ain't so. But a new poll has Atlanta as No. 7 on the list.
The poll, by Honeywell Fans, is not an indictment of MARTA riders (its smarta) or our tendency to boil in our cars while in 285 traffic. No, it simply has to do with perspiration in our situation.
Now before you proclaim that you don't perspire (The A, another moniker, does not stand for Air Conditioning), let's all remember that the balmy evenings and Instagram-perfect weather does come with its consequences. The trade-off is that come December when our Northern neighbors are freezing, we're enjoying mild weather.

People move Down South, particularly Atlanta, because it's hot down here. When it's really warm, you're going to sweat a bit. But who knew we would rank in the top 10?
Interestingly, one of Atlanta's other nicknames -- New York of the South -- is kind of appropriate as well, seeing as how NYC came in at No. 1.
