Here are the top five stories in Atlanta today:

  1. A missing man was found dead in an airport restroom on Thursday. The 64-year-old man, who has not been identified, died of natural causes at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. He was reported missing after he didn't arrive for his scheduled flight. Officials say there is no indication of foul play. (Patch)
  2. A crash involving a motorcycle and a school bus ended with one person in critical condition. The motorcycle rider struck the Atlanta Public Schools bus around 6:30 a.m. Thursday morning at the 2100 block of Bolton Road. There was one child on the bus at the time, but they were not injured. The motorcycle rider remains in the hospital in critical condition as of Thursday evening. (WSB Atlanta)
  3. Patrick Xavier Clark, 33, who was accused of killing Atlanta rapper Takeoff, posted a $1 million bond on Wednesday and is out of jail. Clark was taken into custody on Dec. 1, 2022, for the Nov. 1, 2022 shooting in Houston where the 28-year-old rapper was shot as an innocent bystander, according to police. Clark is currently under house arrest. (WRDW)
  4. After a two-year hiatus, Georgia's biggest and longest-running boating show is returning. The 2023 Discover Boating Atlanta Show will arrive at the Georgia World Congress Center on Jan. 12. The event will run through Jan. 15 and hours will vary each day. There will be displays, events, prizes, and, of course, boats. (Atlanta Downtown)
