  1. On Jan. 15, President Joe Biden will appear in Atlanta to honor the late Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday. Biden will deliver his remarks at the Ebenezer Baptist Church. King served as the pastor of the church from 1960 until his assassination eight years later. Senator Raphael Warnock is the church's current pastor. (11ALIVE)

  3. Friday's shooting at Perimeter Mall did nothing to slow down shoppers over the weekend. Officials have said that they will not be announcing the name of the shooter until today. The shooting took place in the lower food court of the mall. Two men engaged in an argument fired at each other. Both are expected to survive. (WSB Atlanta)
  4. Big Dave’s Cheesesteak continues to expand across Atlanta. The wildly popular sandwich shop is opening a third location near Atlanta in Forest Creek. There are already two stores, one in downtown Atlanta and one in Doraville. Big Dave's also has three locations in the Mercedes Benz Stadium as well as a food truck. (What Now Atlanta)
  5. On Thursday, Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur M. Blank announced that he will give $25,000 to the American Heart Association-Georgia in honor of Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin. Hamlin, who suffered a cardiac arrest during the Bills game Monday against the Cincinnati Bengals, remains in critical condition but had his breathing tube removed on Friday. In a statement, Blank expressed his support for Hamlin and for the American Heart Association's community training programs on CPR and defibrillators. "It is my deepest hope and prayer that Damar rises from this tragic incident, and we can in turn save countless lives moving forward by learning more about life-saving cardiac measures," said Blank.
