Body Found In Burning Car: Atlanta Authorities

ATLANTA — Detectives are investigating after a dead body was found with gunshot wounds in a burning vehicle in northwest Atlanta, according to authorities.

Crews responded around 7:20 a.m. to the area of Wadley Street and Wilson Avenue, according to Atlanta Fire Rescue. They put out the vehicle fire and discovered the body inside, police said, adding detectives later found the victim had been shot repeatedly.

The case remained under investigation as of Sunday afternoon, according to police.
