PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Atlanta Braves are National League East champions once more.

The Georgia team now has six consecutive NL East titles, defeating the Philadelphia Phillies 4-1 Wednesday night at the Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

"BACK-TO-BACK-TO-BACK-TO-BACK-TO-BACK-TO-BACK! #ForTheA," read a post on the Braves' Facebook page.

The Braves could face off against the Phillies again in October. According to a Major League Baseball report, the Braves will get a first-round bye in the NLDS before competing against the winner of the Phillies versus Chicago Bears wild card game in the playoffs.

“There’s something special about this group,” third baseman Austin Riley told the MLB. “We believe in each other. We work hard every day. It’s just so much fun to come to the park every day.”

The NL Division Series will begin on Oct. 7, the MLB reported.
