Child Found Abandoned, Search for Missing Mom in Atlanta
Police say Crystal Hitts drove from Michigan to Atlanta this week, but disappeared soon after arriving at a Bank of America downtown.

ATLANTA, GA — The mystery of a toddler found abandoned in downtown Atlanta has turned into a search for her missing mother.
The woman apparently travelled nearly 900 miles from her Michigan home, but hasn't been seen arriving in the city Friday afternoon, according to Atlanta Police.
Crystal Hitts, 32, is 5'3" tall and 168 lbs. She was last seen at about 2:30 p.m. at the Bank of America at 711 Lee Street.

Five hours later, her small child, Rekyah Brown, was found in Hitts' abandoned tan Chrysler Pacifica.
Relatives have reportedly told police that Hitts left Michigan two days ago, and last spoke to a family member Thursday, according to CBS46. She was recently diagnosed with bipolar disorder, according to WSB-TV.
