Federal Police Shooting Downtown Under Investigation: APD

Atlanta Police said the department is helping the Federal Protection Services with a shooting that happened Friday afternoon downtown.

ATLANTA, GA — An officer with the Federal Protection Agency shot someone in downtown Atlanta Friday afternoon, WSB-TV reported.

According to Atlanta police, officers are assisting the agency with the shooting, which happened at 75 Ted Turner Drive SW. Police said around 4:30 p.m. Friday that they were not involved in the shooting incident.
