Festival To Support APD Mounted Patrol Horses
The event is focused on supporting the maintenance and upkeep of Atlanta's police horses.
ATLANTA, GA — The Atlanta Police Department is inviting the public to attend their Mounted Patrol Fall Festival. Candy, horses and games are just a few of the fun things about the event.
The event is free, but donations are welcome. A $10 donation per family is suggested. Proceeds go to support the horses on the Atlanta Police Department's Mounted Patrol.
Mounted Patrol is a part of the police department's special operations, supporting field operations and acting as crime deterrence and crowd control.

The festival is on Wednesday, Oct. 30, from 5 to 7 p.m .at 1001 Cherokee Avenue SE.
