Fight Causes Burst Pipe, Flooding At ATL Housing High Rise
Reports say two women fighting caused a pipe to burst, causing flooding and an evacuation of the building.
ATLANTA, GA — A Halloween party fight at a housing building caused a pipe to burst, flooding nine floors and causing an evacuation, according to reports. The fight between two women at The Mix, popular with Georgia State University students, sent students out into the cold.
The building, at Ellis Street NE and Piedmont Avenue NE, had water gushing from the ceilings, students told Channel 2.
A student told Channel 2's Lauren Pozen that the two women were fighting over a boy.
