Truck Caught On Fire Shut Down Major DeKalb Intersection

The intersection of Briarcliff and North Druid Hills Road was shut down Thursday after a truck caught on fire, according to fire officials.

DEKALB COUNTY, GA — Roads are back open after a semi-truck caught on fire Thursday, which led to major traffic delays around the intersection of Briarcliff and North Druid Hills Road.

DeKalb County Fire Rescue Captain Jaeson Daniels told Patch Thursday that crews responded to the fire at 7:49 a.m. A semi-truck driving on North Druid hills pulled down some power lines which caused the spark, Daniels said. No one was injured.
