First Look: The Food At Mercedes-Benz Stadium In Atlanta (PICS)

ATLANTA, GA -- Something's cookin' in downtown Atlanta and it tastes great. Patch got a sneak peak of the food options at Atlanta's newest sports venue, Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The stadium's concessions program partnered with Levy Restaurants to bring a truly unprecedented food experience to Atlanta.

Food faves are sure to be the Brisket Grilled Cheese, Hand-Breaded Free Range Fried Chicken Sandwich, Brat Burger and more. Mike Gomes, senior vice president of Fan Experience at the stadium, said that "The variety of our food menu extends across the entirety of our concessions program." Aside from the food, one of the things that sets this program apart are the prices.

"Not only will the food be delicious and be great, it's also priced at a fan-first price," Gomes said. "These specialty items -- we're not calling them premium because premium means high-priced -- these specialty crafted, hand-crafted concessions are what we have on every floor of the stadium."

Fans will get their first chance to grub on August 26 when the Falcons play the Arizona Cardinals for their first preseason game. Atlanta's opener will be Sept. 17 against the Green Bay Packers.

Atlanta United's first home game at the stadium will be Sept. 10 against Dallas.
