Freeze Warning For Metro Atlanta After Days Of Heavy Rain
After being deluged for days with rain, a freeze warning goes into effect from 11 pm Thursday to 8 am Friday.

PEACHTREE CITY, GA -- After days of being deluged with rain, metro Atlanta counties now face a freeze warning that goes into effect 11 pm Thursday and lasts until 8 am Friday. Flash flood watches and warnings expired at 7 am Thursday, but forecasters continue calling for rain lasting well into Thursday morning.
Many metro counties will be under the freeze warning, including Bartow, Cherokee, Forsyth, Hall, Paulding, Cobb, Fulton, Gwinnett, Barrow, Clarke, Oconee, Douglas, DeKalb and Rockdale, along with the cities of Cartersville, Marietta, Atlanta, Lawrenceville, Athens, Carrollton, Douglasville and Decatur.

Rain likely, mainly before 10am. Patchy fog between 8am and 11am. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a high near 45. Light and variable wind becoming west 10 to 15 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%.
