Fulton Police Warn People To Not 'Wake And Bake' In Parks
City of South Fulton Police will are warning people to not light up in their parks.
ATLANTA, GA — City of South Fulton Police have requested people to not “wake and bake” in county parks.
The police department posted on Facebook “Please don’t ‘Wake & Bake’ in our parks.” A Park Ranger Unit noticed what police described as a suspicious car at Cedar Grove Park. A strong odor of suspected marijuana was coming from the vehicle, police said.
A man was detained and police found marijuana and a gun, police said. The man was given a citation and a court date, and released, according to police.

The Park Ranger Unit is responsible for patrolling the city parks to ensure a safe and positive environment for its citizens, said the City of South Fulton Police.
