This GA Water Park Is Among The Best In America For 2025

GEORGIA — One of the top 24 water park locations in the country is in Georgia, according to a recent list from U.S. News & World Report.

Great Wolf Lodge Georgia in LaGrange just outside Atlanta is among the nation's greatest water parks, according to the U.S. News & World Report list.

"Opened in spring 2018, Great Wolf Lodge Georgia brings a unique family vacation experience to the Peach State. With the heart of every Great Wolf Lodge, the 100,000 square-foot indoor water park, as well as many new experiences to offer guests, Great Wolf Lodge Georgia is making a splash," the site said.

U.S. News noted that water parks have evolved to pack in more thrills and are more diverse than they were just a few decades ago. The best of them offer something for everyone, their preferences lean toward lazy rivers, towering slides, water coasters or giant wave pools and surf simulators.

Some of the water parks on the list offer lodging for people who want to extend the fun beyond a day of wild and wet fun. Some water parks may be open seasonally from May to September, although Great Wolf Lodge indoor water parks are open year-round.
