GA Weather: Hazardous Weather Outlook In Effect For Thunderstorms
Heavy rain, thunderstorms and gusty winds are forecast for Georgia Wednesday, June 29.
GEORGIA — A hazardous weather outlook is in effect for much of the metro Atlanta area Wednesday as forecasters warn of scattered thunderstorms in the evening.
According to the National Weather Service, heavy rain and thunderstorms are likely after 5 p.m. Some of the storms could bring gusty winds, frequent lightning and heavy rain. More severe weather is possible through the rest of the Fourth of July holiday weekend.
The chance for rainfall is about 60 percent and the chances reduce to about 30 percent at night, the weather service said. Temperatures are expected to hit a high of 82 degrees Wednesday.

The following counties are included in the hazardous weather outlook: Bartow, Cherokee, Cobb, DeKalb, Douglas, Fayette, Forsyth, Fulton, Gwinnett, Hall, Macon, Paulding, and Walton counties.
