GA's Best Mexican Food Is At This Restaurant, New List Says
Cooking website LoveFood.com sorted through user reviews and accolades to determine which GA Mexican restaurant is best.

GEORGIA — When it comes to indulging in south-of-the-border cuisine in Georgia, the best eats can be found at Nuevo Laredo Cantina in Atlanta, according to a new list.
To compile a new feature showcasing the best Mexican restaurants in each state, cooking website LoveFood.com sorted through user reviews, awards, and accolades to determine which eatery residents flock to for their fix of tacos, fajitas, and guacamole. They also took the first-hand experiences of employees into account when making the list.
According to the list, Nuevo Laredo Cantina is worth the stop in Atlanta.

Of this Chattahoochee Avenue eatery, LoveFood.com said it is consistently popular and offers a friendly vibe.
"The decor is charmingly colorful, and the menu is full of Mexican and Tex-Mex crowd-pleasers, including the restaurant’s signature dish, brisket barbacoa. Even when there’s a line, it’s well worth the wait," LoveFood.com said.

Owner Chance Evans opened Nuevo in summer 1992 to serve the purpose of providing "authentic, home-cooked Mexican food to the lunch patrons of the surrounding industries," according to its website.
Panchos, queso flameado, nachos, guacamole dip, quesadillas, soups, salads and a Mexican sandwich are on Nuevo's menu. The restaurant also has a vegetarian menu, seafood dishes and a hamburger dish.
