A few strong storms are possible beginning Monday evening, according to the National Weather Service.

ATLANTA, GA — A strong storm system heading for Georgia is expected to finally bring rain. Showers are expected to begin Monday afternoon and could run through Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.
A few thunderstorms could be severe, according to forecasters, with storms Tuesday possibly including gusty winds and possibly some small hail.
The week will finish mostly sunny, but will bring a shift to cooler temperatures, from a high near 72 degrees on Tuesday to a high at 57 degrees by Friday.

Monday: A 20 percent chance of showers after 3pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 66. Southeast wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
Monday Night: A chance of showers, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm after 10pm. Low around 60. Southeast wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
Tuesday: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. High near 72. South wind around 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%.
Wednesday: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. High near 68. Chance of precipitation is 90%.
Thursday: A 20 percent chance of showers. Mostly sunny, with a high near 58.
Friday: Sunny, with a high near 57.
Friday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 38.
Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 57.
