Here is when we'll have the best chances for showers and thunderstorms this week, according to the National Weather Service.

ATLANTA, GA — Temperatures are going to stay in the 80s this week, but we'll also see storm threats all week, according to the latest forecast.

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms will be possible each day this week, through Saturday, according to the National Weather Service. A few storms could be strong with gusty winds, heavy rain and frequent lightning possible.

The best chance for storms will be Monday and Tuesday afternoon, then again on Saturday.

According to The Weather Channel's extended forecast, we could be seeing another round of severe weather in Georgia early next week.

Elsewhere, Florida will be watching a tropical disturbance heading for the state. Hurricane watchers say significant development isn't expected.

Tuesday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 2pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 85. East wind around 5 mph.

Wednesday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny, with a high near 87.

Thursday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly sunny, with a high near 88.

Friday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny, with a high near 83.

Saturday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 83.

Sunday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 85.
