Georgia Weather Forecast: Sunny Skies All Weekend, But We Need Rain
It'll be another great weekend to get outdoors, but drought concerns have increased in the state, according to the National Weather Service.

ATLANTA, GA — Temperatures will stay in the 80s and skies will be clear this weekend across the region, according to the latest forecast from the National Weather Service.
It will be a much cooler start to the weekend Friday night, with lows around 54 degrees.
But we'll bounce back with a sprint to 80 degrees by Saturday, under sunny skies.

Beautiful weather might be good news for a weekend outside, but it is not welcomed by folks watching drought conditions worsen in north Georgia.

The temperatures will reach the mid-80s by Monday, with the sunny forecast not expected to change for the rest of the week. Noticeably cooler temperatures are on tap for next weekend, though.

Before we get there, the big weather story will be Hurricane Matthew and whether we'll see any impacts here. The storm is expected to turn north and move over Cuba and the Bahamas by Wednesday.

Friday Night: Clear, with a low around 54. West wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.
Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 80. Calm wind becoming west around 5 mph in the afternoon.
Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 82. Calm wind becoming northwest around 5 mph in the afternoon.
Monday: Sunny, with a high near 84.
