Georgia Weather Forecast: Sunny Week, While Watching the Tropics
Hurricane Matthew expected to reach waters off the East Coast by the weekend, but the path is still unclear.

ATLANTA, GA — The week will see temperatures a bit higher than normal under sunny skies, but all eyes are going to be on Hurricane Matthew and the storm's eventual trek near the U.S.
The path for this storm is still unclear and it may stay far enough off the coast to avoid any impacts as it heads north next weekend and into the next week.
Until then, temperatures will be in the low 80s in Georgia. The week will begin with a few windy days — with gusts as high as 15 mph on Tuesday.
