Muggy heat is going to be around for most of the week, with only isolated storms, according to the National Weather Service.

ATLANTA, GA — We'll start the week dry and warm, with a chance for isolated storms through Tuesday, mainly in the afternoons.
With storms that do appear, the main hazards will be gusty winds, heavy rain and frequent lightning, according to the National Weather Service.
Temperatures will be in the low 90s for most of the week. But the heat index, or "feels like" temperature, will make it feel like 96 degrees for most of the week.

Chance for storms increase beginning Wednesday and will improve as we get closer to the weekend, according to the weather service. Temperatures will also cool slightly, with highs in the upper 80s.

Tuesday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 3pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 92. South wind around 5 mph.
Wednesday: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 9am. Partly sunny, with a high near 91.
Thursday: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 90.
Friday: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 88.
Saturday: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 87.
